Time Flies

Wow... I can't believe neither of us has posted an update. We are preparing for both of our kids to be in school in the fall. Johnny will be starting kindergarten and could not be more excited about it. I am too of course. We will see who stays excited about longer...
Brieanna is with her dad for the summer and is enjoying herself a lot. She will be back in time to get ready for school.
We are currently looking for a new house. We have been living in a quite small apartment. There is just not enough room for the four of us here. We have our eye on a few places. The kids are looking forward to moving somewhere that they can play outside. Hopefully we will be able to find something before our lease is up on the apartment.

Birthday

We have now been married almost a month. Sometimes, it still feels like a dream for me, then I realize that he really is standing there in front of me wearing my ring. I have not ever been so happy.
We are now preparing for a birthday party for Johnny. His birthday was on the 11th however, he was with his dad so we are doing his party on the 23rd which is also Richard's birthday. So, I was planning a birthday party for both of them. Richard however, disagrees. He says that he does not celebrate his birthday and wants the party for only Johnny. I am still planning a little for both of them.... Birthday cards and gifts and all. We will be having pizza and cupcakes for the party. There is an army them so I will be putting army men on the top of the cupcakes and then Richard and Johnny will both have candles in theirs to blow out. I am sure that it will be fun. I will have lots of pictures as well. If you want some just let me know.

A little thanks

I would like to thank everyone who made it to our wedding. It was more beautiful than I imagined it would be. We had a few miss haps in the few days leading up to the wedding, like the diamonds falling out of my wedding band (which was fixed without problem), but it made the day that more sweet. There was no greater feeling than walking up the aisle looking into the eyes of the love of my life. Thank you for sharing our very special day with us!

Flight from Des Moines

We have coordinated to fly my grand ma and Aunt Marilyn to Dallas(DFW airport). Dad is going to be there to pick them up and then take them back to the air port. They will be leaving Des Moines on the 25th and returning on the 28th. American Airlines has offered really great fares, less then $300 a ticket to round trip!

So why am I sharing this? Well it's simple. So anyone else in the Des Moines area can look into the flights. Dallas is a ways north of Round Rock but transportation has been coordinated for arriving flight #3840 and departing flight #3611 both from American Air lines.

If anyone else decides to come down please let me know so I can coordinate hotel rooms. If we can get all the rooms figured out there is a good chance we can save some everyone money.

Update

Just a quick note. We are putting the final details together finally. We have picked up some stuff for the decorations, and thanks to Tracy back in Kansas we will have centerpieces for our dinner tables as well. The cake is ordered, the flowers are paid for and I believe all the other little pieces are done. I just hope we don't forget anything. The day is drawing very near and we can't wait to see you all there.
